Little is known about his childhood, but we know he moved to Alaska at the tender age of 19. Well, you could say, he was an adult already.
He said he had experiences with trapping and hunting, so settling down in Noorvik was not going to be any problem. It was in Noorvik, he met his wife, Agnes, who is a native of Alaska.
For his involvement in the Life Below Zero show, the producers picked interest in his way of life. Together with his wife and children, they have appeared in 109 episodes of the show.
His several appearances would surely increase his net worth. According to rumors in 2018, Chip is worth $200,000. Not bad for someone who barely has sunbaths.
Agnes, Chip’s wife was born on June 14, 1871, in the Noorvik and knows no other place than this Alaskan town. Before meeting Chip, she married Douglas J. Carter, with whom they had a son together. However, she and Chip have six children together.
Glenn is one of the cast members who isn’t a native of Alaska. Born on the 18th of March 1968 in Vermont, U.S.A, Glenn was fascinated with nature.
While in the US, he would pack his backpack to explore the remote corners of his neighbourhood. Why he does that, we never can really tell, but, it points at someone who really fancies a serene environment and solitude.
He finally moved to Alaska in 1999 and settled in a town called Chandalar which was 65 miles north of the Arctic Circle. His interring way of life drew the attention of the producers who offered him a cast in the show.

One of the mainstays of the show with over 111 episodes appearances, Sue is a fan favourite of the show. Sue was born in Mount Prospect on July 1, 1960.
Her parents divorced and she chose to live with her mother. They both moved to Alaska after the divorce. She would learn how to hunt and survive in this extremely cold region.

What Happened to Andy Bassich’s Girlfriend?
Andy, initially married to Kate Rorke got a divorce in 2015 after the latter claimed she was mentally abused, which sealed her extraction from the cast. She is currently living back in Canada while Andy has gotten a new girlfriend; Denise Becker.
It all happened during his hip surgery. He met Denise, a trauma nurse during the surgery. Together, they have clicked and are back on the show as an item.
