Copeland fulfilled his dream. This came on Canada Day, a day set aside for sporting events at Monarch Park Stadium in Toronto. In the presence of a large crowd, Copeland made his professional debut in 1992.
From here, his dream became bigger and he wrestled across Canada under the pseudonym Sexton Hardcastle, a pretty interesting nickname if you ask us. From Canada to the United States of America, Edge sought more global recognition in the world of wrestling.
In the course of his individual career, Copeland won the MWCW Tag Team Championship twice with Legend and the ICW Street Fight Tag Team, two times.
After a while, he teamed up with his friend Christian Cage to form the group, Hard Impact. Then, they later changed to The Suicide Blondes. A very interesting name for wrestlers. When they moved to Japan to wrestle, they needed to have a name that would single them out, so they chose The Canadian Rockers.

In his first televised match, which was against Jose Estrada Jr, Edge did a somersault senton which injured Estrada’s neck ending the match prematurely. He introduced himself as a no-nonsense wrestler.
Edge won his first singles championship, World Wrestling Federation (WWF) on July 24, 1999, beating Jeff Jarrett in Toronto, his hometown. However, unfortunately for him, he lost the title the next night to Jarrett. Edge won several titles from when he started in 1992 to the present.
Some of them include ICW Street Fight Tag Team Championship (2 times), WWE Championship (4 times), WCW United States Championship (1 time), World Heavyweight Championship (7 times), WWE Tag Team Championship (2 times). He once declared himself as the “most-watched champion”.
