The Early Life of Tara Setmayer
Tara is of mixed descent. Tara’s father is of Afro-Guatemala descent, while her mother is of German and Italian descent. Setmayer was born in Queens, New York on September 9, 1975.
However, she grew up in Paramus, in northern New Jersey. She grew up here because her grandfather Emil Setmayer was a resident. He was also a police officer for 40 years before retiring as a captain.

After resigning from her role, she took up a role as the co-host of the one-hour political news program The Real News. Tara co-founded with her mother a faith-based homeless initiative to address the issues of homelessness of people in Florida. She has also served as a political trainer for GOPAC. GOPAC is a non-profit organisation that specialises in organising grassroots Republicans.
